General Information
Grapes grown in the unique climate of the Upper Galilee mainly from the super premium Dishon Vineyard in the Kadesh Valley, were harvested at ultimate ripeness. The wine underwent a protracted post-fermentation maceration on the skins as well as fourteen months aging in a mixture of French and American oak in order to arrive at the optimum extraction and balance of fruit, tannin and oak. This rich, complex, balanced wine will continue to improve for many years.
Kosher For Passover
Winemaker's Note
Full bodied, rich blackberry and dark cherry flavors, subtle hints of anise and a long finish. Best Served With: Full flavored meat or rich sauced chicken dishes.

"Unabashedly modern in style, this Cab boasts a lush, supple mouthfeel and hits all the right flavor notes: cedar, leather and vanilla from oak but also black cherry and cassis from ripe fruit. The long, velvety finish is its crowning glory."

Wine News 85 Point
Deeply grapy nose of cassis, oak and stewed prunes; an unfiltered, simple, juicy, highly approachable quaffer for daily use; longish finish.
Detroit News
Segal's Cabernet Sauvignon Special Reserve, is a definitive Cabernet Sauvignon, my favorite of the Cabs I tasted. It had enchianting fruit, spice and oak aromas, and was big on the palate with wonderfully ripe tannins that let you know they are there.

Allied Jewish Federation Boulder Women's Center
In March of 1999, the Allied Jewish Federation Boulder Women's Center was no more than an idea germinating in the minds of a few Boulder women. These women believed that giving, learning and, "doing Jewish," was the logical next step in their journey towards repairing the world/tikun olam. The highly successful Boulder Women’s Center now hosts several exciting events.
Our annual women’s campaign event brings together 200 women from the Boulder/Denver community to celebrate community and the strength of a woman’s individual gift to the annual community campaign.
The Knitzvah Project brings together women to knit and schmooze all the while performing a mitzvah. Finished hats have been distributed in Israel, the Former Soviet Union, Argentina and locally to elderly Jews and chemo patients. A cooking group is in the works that will make delicacies to help stock freezers at our local synagogues who then deliver food to those in need.
If you are interested in upcoming programs or would like to get involved, please call the Boulder hotline, 303.316.6476 or contact Boulder@AJFColorado.org, 303.316.6476. Come join us!
